St. Louis Shakespeare Festival is bringing TourCo to Hermann Farm on August 27, 2022, for a free performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is one of Shakespeare’s most joyful and beloved comedies. The central characters fall in and out of love while lost in the magical fairy forest where mischief and meddling run wild. But despite all the enchantments and fun - there is a story of self-love and exploration which is the focus of this afro-futurist production.
The play will begin at 6:30 pm and the story will unfold under the stars at Hermann Farm, a 200-acre historic farm and museum that is focused on presenting the history and heritage of the Missouri River Valley.
Admission is free and open to the public. The farm gates will open at 5 pm. Families are welcome, although the play is best for those 12 and up. Food, beer and wine will be available for purchase prior to and during the show. Please note that outside alcohol is not allowed on the farm.

VIP EXPERIENCE TO BENEFIT ST. LOUIS SHAKESPEARE — A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold with a portion of the proceeds benefiting St. Louis Shakespeare Festival. Tickets are $75 per person and include a private cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception held in the Stone Barn at Hermann Farm prior to the play and reserved seating for the performance. Also included with your ticket is a post-play dessert reception with the cast and crew.
